Session description:
|
The classroom teacher’s knowledge of the areas of content, form, and use of language in relationship to literacy may vary widely, depending on their own teacher preparation background. Teacher’s knowledge base and experience with this facet of literacy development is paramount to students being successful in learning to read and write. This language literacy connection is an even more important factor when teaching children who either struggle in learning to read or are already identified as children with a language challenge. |
